This is probably one of my favorite breakfast places in Orange County! I had the Huevos Rancheros and my family got the Korean Brisket Quesadilla along with the Crepes. Everything tasted great! The Huevos Rancheros were beautifully made and the Quesadillas had a sweet jam spread over the top that gave it a nice Hawaiian taste. I will be coming here again very soon!

Plumeria Cafe is truly a hidden gem and easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was something special. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and beautifully designed—inviting yet relaxed, with just the right balance of sophistication and comfort. You instantly feel at home, whether you’re there for a quick coffee or a full-on brunch with friends or family. Let’s talk about the service—absolutely top notch. The staff at Plumeria are genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in the cafe and truly care about your experience. The staff greeted us with a smile, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and even offered some personalized recommendations that turned out to be spot on. Now, on to the food—WOW. Every dish we ordered was a showstopper. You can taste the love and quality ingredients in every bite. The menu offers a creative mix of classics with a modern, fresh twist. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was plated with care and creativity. What also sets Plumeria Cafe apart is the vibe—it’s just so thoughtfully curated. Whether you’re catching up with friends, having a peaceful solo breakfast, or even doing some work with a coffee in hand, it’s a perfect setting. The music, the lighting, the decor—every detail creates a space you actually want to spend time in. You can tell the owners and team have poured their hearts into this place. Plumeria Cafe isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a whole experience. A place you’ll remember and want to return to again and again. I already can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu. If you’re looking for a spot with exceptional food, fantastic service, and a warm, welcoming environment, Plumeria Cafe is IT. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation or just stop in—you’ll be so glad you did.

Came on a weekday and it was perfect — no wait, food came out fast, and the staff was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. The relaxing vibe (helped by the sound of the little fountain) made it even better. Birds wander around picking up crumbs, but they totally respect your space and add to the charm instead of being a bother. A hidden gem!

Had a business lunch at Plumeria Café and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic — crispy chicken was perfectly cooked and the strawberry Nutella crepes were a showstopper (see pics!). Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and focus. Definitely coming back.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to find this place! We wanted to do Mother's Day Brunch on Saturday and found this place as available without reservations and only a 10 minute wait at lunch time. We ordered at the counter and found a table on the outdoor patio area. The food came quickly and we were so happy with the presentation as well as the taste of everything. From Huevos Rancheros, to Korean Brisket Quesadilla, to eggs and bacon, to sweet strawberry and banana crepes we were so happy with the proportions as well as how good everything tasted. They are generous with the Nutella on the crepes so one of us got it as-is and one of us got the Nutella on the side. Consider getting it on the side. Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

Definitely the closest to actual local island food. Being from HI, most Hawaiian food is a joke here in the mainland. My favorite is loco moco with portuguese sausage and fried rice. My only complaint about the food, is peas and carrots in the fried rice is not traditional in Honolulu/on Oahu. Kalbi beef is to die for!! I stick to my favorites for homesick/comfort reasons, but you literally can't go wrong with anything from here. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Be prepared to stand in line to order for a bit as this place is popular. The birds outside looking for scraps are obnoxious.
